CLYDESDALE Harrier Christine Duncanson ran well in the Troon Tortoises 10k, finishing in a time of 46.19, followed by Yvonne Green in 51.44.
The previous weekend Paul Carroll and Gerry Montgomery headed to Dundee for the Angus Half Marathon.
Both did well, Paul winning second veteran in a time of 1.21.16 and Gerry winning second supervet in a time of 1.23.59 over a hilly course.
The day before was the Montane Highland Fling Race (53 miles) which was run along the West Highland Way from Milngavie to Tyndrum.
Heather Calderwood had an exceptional run for her first ultra, finishing as third Scot in 9.42.59. This was followed by John Kennedy (10.13.30 and third vet 50), Peter Halpin (11.11.28) and Craig Calderwood (12.44.10).
The previous Wednesday was the Whangie Whizz hill race where Hugh Laurie ran well to finish in 36.13, followed by Michael Diver (39.23).
