CLYDESDALE Harriers recently took part in the SVHC Road Relays, which had been postponed for a week due to the bad weather.
The event took place in Strathclyde Park with everyone running one lap of the loch, which comes to around 3.7 miles.
The Harriers had a female team taking part, and each member ran well to finish third against some very good runners.
First off was Pamela McCrossan who ran her leg in 23.43, putting the team straight away in third position.
She handed over to Kath Scott who ran a solid leg and gained one position to finish in 24.48.
Finally on the third leg was Marina McCallum, who unfortunately had the fastest runner of the day behind her.
The Helensburgh runner overtook Marina within the last half mile, so the Harriers were back to third position, Marina finishing in 24.15.
Next run for the Harriers is the Masters Cross Country Championships at Forres in Morayshire, on Saturday.
