West Dunbartonshire Athletics Club members record good times

WEST Dunbartonshire Athletics Club recently received the results for the final event of the Scottish Indoor League which was held at the Kelvin Hall in Glasgow on Sunday, February 8.

Again the young athletes put in very impressive performances and timings, and two of the 9older athletes finished in the top three that day.

The full results were:

Under 13 Boys: Ruairidh Pollard 60m in 9.63 and 200m in 33.1, Lewis Farrell high jump of 1.15m, Robert Archibald 60m in 10.59, 200m in 37.0 and a long jump of 2.44m.

Under 13 Girls: Emma Boyle 60m in f 9.48 and 800m in 3.00.3, Emily Paxton 200m in 33.7, Rachael Clark 60m in 9.42 and 200m in 32.9, Nicole Anderson long jump of 2.38m, Erin Ball 800m in 3.02.09.

Under 15 Girls: Sarah Brodie 60m in 9.14 and 200m in 30.4.

Under 17 Women: Katrina Watts 60m in 8.84 and 200m in 29.5, Caitlan Vaughan 800m in 2.14.6 placing her within the top three on the day, Emma Watson 300m in 45.6.

Under 20 Men: Allan Watson 200m in 25.1 placing him within the top three on the day.

The next meeting was at the 4x200m relays last Sunday, the results of which should be known by next week.
