Cardross golfer's European hopes dashed

CARDROSS Golf Club’s Scott Henry saw his hopes of making Europe’s top tour disintegrate on Saturday – thanks to a devastating round of 84.
The 21-year-old carded opening rounds of 75 and 77 and seemed down but not out, until his third round 84 all but destroyed his chances of securing a European Tour place.
Unfortunately for the former Scottish Amateur Strokeplay Champion, a fourth round 70 was not enough to help him back up the leader-board, and his challenge ended with him missing the cut on 20-over-par – just one shot from the bottom of the leader- board.
