Cardross golfer closer to European Tour

CARDROSS golf sensation Scott Henry moved one step closer to realising his European Tour ambitions on Saturday – by making the final stage of Qualifying School.
The 21-year-old carded a superb third round 68 to rescue his challenge and joined fellow Scots Craig Lee and Chris Doak in qualifying from Montenmedio Golf Club in Spain.
Scott said: “I was delighted with my 68 and then following it up with a 70 was a great fightback.”
Scott, who has vowed to turn pro if he is successful, will find out this Saturday whether or not he has gained his tour card credentials.
