Vale Juniors tie up Cardross deal

VALE of Leven Juniors are set to join up with Cardross Amateurs in a bid to nurture top local footballing talent.

The amateur side hopes to take on any players from the Millburn under-21 side who are not ready to make the step up to junior football.

The three teams already train together once a week at Hermitage Academy’s all-weather football facility in Helensburgh.

Cardross are managed by former Vale hero Willie Howie.
