Our Lady and St Patrick's school football team in Glasgow Cup action

OLSP showed style and skill to sink eight goals in the Glasgow Cup last week.

Hyndland began the game well and OLSP keeper Mark Doherty had to make a number of saves.

But when Josh Docherty scored twice for OLSP in quick succession midway though the first half, the game was effectively over.

Dominic O’Neil added his strike to the tally in the first half after bursting through and picking his spot carefully.

After the break, Docherty added another two and found time to win a penalty which was coolly converted by Ryan McColl.

Andy Ryan controlled Kieran Thompson’s inch- perfect pass to tuck the ball past the keeper before O’Neil rounded off the scoring with a neat strike to make it eight.

Yet another convincing victory for OLSP and a fine display of goal-scoring from Docherty.

OLSP: Doherty, McGunnigle, Sharp, Mackie, Mairs, Ryan, O’Neil, Finnegan, Docherty, Joyce, Thompson, McColl, McCluskey, Darroch.
