ROSS O’Donoghue hopes that Dumbarton can make it a Fife double on Saturday when they travel to face East Fife.
Sons were left frustrated by the postponement of Saturday’s game away to Peterhead, having beaten Cowdenbeath 2-1 the previous week.
So they will visit New Bayview on Saturday looking to make it two in a row against teams from ‘The Kingdom’.
Ross, who has been in good form in recent games, said: “Hopefully we will get this game played. It was a difficult game when they beat us the last time, but we do not fear any team.
“We will just have to prepare well and hopefully put on a good performance.
“It was disappointing that we were out of action on Saturday, although I think we had an idea on Friday that the Peterhead game would be off.
“We were full of confidence after the Cowdenbeath match, which was one of our best performances of the season, so hopefully we can carry that into the East Fife game.”
The recent spate of postponements will mean a long run of midweek fixtures for Sons in March.
But Ross, signed from Elgin City in pre-season, insists he’s looking forward to playing twice a week.
He added: “The manager will use the entire squad during that run, and we have a lot of good players, so that will stand us in good stead.
“It’s been difficult having only one game in the last six weeks, as you always look to have a game at the end of a week’s training.
“But it’s been the same for everybody, so we will just have to look to pick up points when the run of games starts.”
