DUMBARTON face the long trip to Peterhead on Saturday, hoping to make it three wins out of three against the men from the north-east.
But as Sons switch their attentions from the Blue Brazil to the Blue Toon, they will know they face a difficult game.
Peterhead also returned to action on Saturday with a good result, winning 4-1 away to struggling Arbroath.
They have also made two impressive midfield signings recently – Aberdeen youngster Jonathan Crawford and the experienced Barry Wilson.
Sons’ last visit to Peterhead was a successful one, with Stevie Murray and Derek Carcary’s late goals edging a 2-1 win.
Then, in last month’s re-scheduled home match, Scott Chaplain’s penalty was the only goal of the game.
Kick-off on Saturday is at the usual 3pm, with the Sons Supporters Trust’s bus leaving the Strathclyde Homes Stadium at 8am.
There are still a few seats left on the bus, costing £10 for trust members and £13 for non-members. To book, call Tommy Hughes on 07710 771341 or visit www.sonstrust.net and leave a blog comment.
The bus will have a pick-up point at Balloch bus stance at 8.15am. Anybody who wants picked up at this point is asked to inform Tommy in advance.
