DUMBARTON have allowed Adam Strachan and Richard McKillen to go out on loan.
Midfielder Strachan, who only joined in September after being freed by Ross County, will play for third division Albion Rovers for an initial one-month spell.
Teenage defender McKillen has joined junior outfit Glenafton on an open-ended loan deal which allows Sons to recall him at any time.
Manager Jim Chapman said: "Richard is out to get fitness more than anything. He now has the opportunity to play games at a decent level.
"He can even return to play for us at any point, and then go back to Glenafton again if the need arises.
"Whether it works out is down to Richard. He is in our plans, but we need to give him more than a bounce game every now and then."
