Dumbarton FC: Gordon Lennon memorial fund is now open

THE Gordon Lennon Memorial Fund is now open, with a committee assembled by Sons fan and local businessman Robert Ryan.

A benefit match will take place sometime over the coming season, with a dinner also a possible event.

There will also be collections for the family of Sons' tragic captain at the forthcoming friendly games with Partick Thistle and St Mirren.

Any financial contributions should be sent to: Gordon Lennon Memorial Fund, c/o Ryan's Pet Centre, 157 High Street, Dumbarton G82 1NZ.

Cheques or postal orders should be crossed and made payable to the Gordon Lennon Memorial Fund.

Alternatively donations can be made through giro credit. The sort code is 07-02-46 and the account number is 06177959.

SEASON tickets are now available for collection at the Strathclyde Homes Stadium, which is open from 9am to 3pm on Wednesday and Friday.

Supporters who are unable to collect their tickets before Friday will have them sent through the post.

Tickets are also still available to those who have not already placed an order. Visit the stadium to pick up an application form.

THE Sons Lotto jackpot is now £6000 after nobody matched all four of last week's numbers, which were 22, 23, 24 and 26.

Six players won £10 for matching three numbers. They were V Aitken and P D'Arcy (both Balloch), I Keenan (Alexandria) and M Gartshore, J Barrett and M McQuade (all Dumbarton).

The next draw takes place today (Wednesday) at The Pawn Bar, Alexandria, at noon.
