ROSS Forbes hopes that Dumbarton’s title success can force himself into manager Mark McGhee’s plans at Motherwell.
But the youngster won’t rule out a comeback to Strathclyde Homes Stadium if things don’t work out for him at Fir Park.
The midfielder will now return to the Lanarkshire club after his loan spell finished with Saturday’s 3-1 win at Annan Athletic.
He said: “It’s been absolutely brilliant and it couldn’t have finished in a better way by going eight games unbeaten and then winning the league.
“It will take some beating as the highlight of my career. I might never get the chance to win a league again, so I have to enjoy this while I can.
“I’ve really enjoyed getting the chance to play games. It is what I came to the club for and I now have that experience.
“Obviously I am now looking to establish myself at Motherwell, but if things don’t work out and Dumbarton are interested in signing me on loan again, I would be interested as it’s been a good place for me to play.”
