Cowdenbeath 0 Dumbarton 0
DUMBARTON remain one point behind Cowdenbeath at the top of the Third Division after drawing 0-0 with the leaders on Saturday.
In a tense and nervous match, a missed penalty by Stevie Murray after 10 minutes was the key point.
Sons had other chances to score, but the breakthrough would not come and the two sides had to settle for a point.
However, Dumbarton can still go top of the league this Saturday when Forfar Athletic visit.
With Cowden facing a difficult fixture away to Montrose, a better result for Sons than for them will mean the sides swap places.
