THE Albion Rovers game was again a pale shadow of the standards we have set this season but it's not all doom and gloom for us.
The players have to realise what they have to do in this situation but we don't become a bad team overnight. The standards have been set and it is up to us to maintain them.
The entire game was flat, but we still managed to get something from it even when things weren't going well.
It was maybe an effect of the last couple of games when we have also dropped points. However, when you are feeling sorry for yourself, you can only get answers by looking to yourself to put things right.
Nobody is going to help you. Every team has a bad patch at some point and it's maybe better to have ours now than later in the season.
Derek Carcary has so much potential in his locker and we want to use his pace to the best effect.
He has the potential to play at a higher level, and showed that even just one bit of brilliance can be enough to get us something out of the game.
However, too many players again had off days. You can maybe get away with one or two not playing to their full potential but when the majority of them are not it is a struggle.
We are also looking rather nervous at the moment, maybe because the pressure is on the teams at the top.
The players, though, are not frightened to work hard and we need real strong characters at the moment.
