THE long road to Hampden continues for Dumbarton this weekend with a trip north to face Ross County in the Homecoming Scottish Cup third round.
The trip to Dingwall is Sons' second lengthy away journey in the competition after last month's visit to Fraserburgh.
But if Jim Chapman's men are to reach the lucrative fourth round draw, where the big guns enter the competition, they have a big task.
County were second division champions last season and recently reached the final of the Alba Challenge Cup, only to lose to Airdrie United.
However, they exacted revenge on the Diamonds on Saturday by winning 2-0 at New Broomfield.
The game also represents a chance for Sons to get back to winning ways before the crucial next league fixture away to Cowdenbeath.
Kickoff at Dingwall is at 3pm, with the Sons Supporters Trust's bus leaving the Strathclyde Homes Stadium at 7.45am. The bus is fully booked.
