Sons Supporters Trust could run second Ross County bus

THE Sons Supporters Trust may run a second bus to the Homecoming Scottish Cup third round tie at Ross County after the first one sold out.

The fans’ group needs 49 people to travel on the second bus to Dingwall on Saturday, November 29. Prices are £15 for trust members and £18 for non-members, and both buses will leave the stadium at 7.45am. To book call Tommy Hughes on 01389 758105.

THE trust has two further events coming up for the fans before the end of 2008.

There’s a race night on Friday, November 21, at the Strathclyde Homes Stadium from 7.30pm, with a disco and dancing until late. Tickets are available from the Strathclyde Homes Stadium during normal opening hours, from Ryan’s Pet Centre, Dumbarton or from any trust board member.

The trust has also pencilled in its second festive quiz for Saturday, December 27, at 1pm in the supporters’ bar at the stadium. Admission is free with entry to Sons’ home match against Elgin City that day.

SONS have loaned keeper Michael White to second division Alloa Athletic until December. He was on the bench for the Wasps as they went down 4-1 to Raith Rovers on Saturday.

THE Sons Lotto jackpot is now £11,500 after no-one matched all four of last week’s numbers, which were 2, 15, 21 and 22.

Twelve players won £10 for matching three numbers. They were E Harris (Helensburgh), C O’Shea, C Graham, L Kerr, J Ferguson, L Hughes and M McDonald (all Alexandria) and F Gordon, K Barrass, T Beagelty, S McCurley and M Barr (all Dumbarton). The next draw takes place today (Wednesday) at the Burgh Bar, Dumbarton, at noon.
