Dumbarton FC gets new official partner

DUMBARTON High Street pub The Counting House is the latest business to sign up as an official partner of Dumbarton FC.

The pub, used as a base for the Sons Supporters Trust’s travel section on away days, is delighted to be part of the new DFC family.

And it was the starting point for the fans when they watched Sons beat Albion Rovers 3-1 on Saturday.

Manager Eleanor Cameron said: “As a local business, we are keen to support our local team and having Sons fans as regular customers is just brilliant.”

And Alan Findlay, of the club’s commercial team, added: “It’s important as a club that we engage with businesses in the town, and for the fans in particular The Counting House has been a great supporter.”

As part of the deal, The Counting House will be match ball sponsors at this Saturday’s Raise the Rock match with Cowdenbeath.
