Balloch and District bowlers celebrate success

BALLOCH and District Veterans Bowling Club celebrated their outdoor season successes with a special prizegiving earlier this month.

Prizes were presented by Club President Iris Taylor. Winners as follows (runners up in brackets):

Gents Championship - L Mason Cup: N O’Donnell (B Morrison); Ladies Championship - Club Cup: G Wilson (A Robb); Gents Pairs - Hobson’s Choice Cup: J Harper, P Reid (A Davis, J McGurk).

Ladies Pairs - W Filshill Trophy: M McGurk, A Robb (J Grainger, A Dennett); J Tait Memorial Cup: N O’Donnell (C McFarlane); T Abraham Memorial Cup: G Wilson (J Grainger).

Two Bowl - A Stewart Trophy: J Grainger, J Taylor (A Campbell, N O’Donnell); Triples - Carrochan Cup: G Wilson, C McFarlane, T Bell; Mixed Fours - Blair Cup: A Robb, M Dick, G Wilson, F Franchitti
