Truck driver wants proof Obama was born in US
A KENTUCKY truck driver is challenging Barack Obama's right to be President of the United States.
Daniel John Essek, 47, wants proof that the President-elect, whose father is from Kenya, was born in the United States - a requirement for American presidents.
Suggestions that Obama wasn't born in the United States surfaced repeatedly during the presidential campaign, prompting his team to post a copy of his birth certificate on the Internet to prove he was born in Hawaii.
