AUSTRALIA's small marsupials, the Tasmanian Devil, are in danger of being wiped out in under 10 years, scientists have claimed.
The creatures - on which Disney character Taz is based - suffer from facial tumours and scientists fear that, without a vaccine, they will die out very soon. The Tasmanian Tiger, a relative of the small marsupials, died out in the 1930s due to over-hunting and disease.
Now a new scheme aims to raise funds to help save the Devils.
