Former Keil pupil is new Tory Party hopeful

A FORMER Dumbarton school pupil has been selected by the Conservative Party to stand for Westminster.

Mark Menzies, 37, was chosen by Fylde Conservative Association as potential successor to MP Michael Jack.

Mark, from Ayrshire, was educated at Keil School before graduating from the University of Glasgow with a degree in economic history. He works in marketing with Morrisons supermarket.

He has fought two parliamentary seats before, having lost out in Glasgow Govan in 2001 and Selby in 2005.
