Car is siezed by the cops

A WOMAN driver had her car seized after being stopped by police in Dumbarton last week.
The 33-year-old’s blue Ford Fiesta caught the attention of cops on the A814 at Dumbuck Crescent at 5.25pm last Tuesday.
The woman has since been reported to the procurator fiscal for allegedly driving without insurance and police seized the car under section 165 of the Road Traffic Act.
The owner can reclaim her car if she produces an insurance certificate within the required time period.
