THE award-winning headquarters of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park is holding an open day on Sunday, September 6.
Carrochan in Balloch will be open, free of charge, from 1pm to 4pm and there will be guided tours, starting at 1.30pm, led by members of staff and the architects’ team.
SEPA, which has a base in the building, will be offering advice on the environment and staging practical demonstrations highlighting the effect pollution has on Scotland’s land and water.
Dianne Foy, SEPA’s Balloch office unit manager, said: “This is an excellent opportunity to work in partnership with the national park authority to highlight environmental protection in Scotland and to showcase our award-winning shared office building.”
The open day will also include an exhibition of local history from heritage groups and a display of historic and listed buildings in area by Historic Scotland. A national park ranger will lead fun activities for children.
