Fourth mast plans for Helensburgh

COMMUNITIES in Helensburgh are considering proposals for a FOURTH mobile phone mast in their area.

Vodafone wants to erect a 3G mobile station outside the County Hotel in East Clyde Street.

The groups, all representing areas of Colgrain, have been consulted over the issue by Helensburgh Community Council.

One fears the mast could have an adverse effect on a day centre for vulnerable adults and a primary school.
