Parents call for action on Helensburgh playground

WORRIED parents are calling for action over what they claim is an unsafe playground in Helensburgh.

They fear their kids could be hurt at the waterlogged and debris-strewn play area in Kirkmichael.

Parents say the park should have been reinstated before Dunbritton Housing Association completed new properties on the estate.

Now they are calling on Argyll and Bute Council to take action to make the playground fit for purpose.

The council has pledged to have the play park ready by this month.
