Helensburgh school head retires

HELENSBURGH’S Lomond School is seeking a new head teacher.

The 600-pupil school’s headmaster Angus Macdonald is retiring after 23 years.

The new appointment will be effective from June next year, when Mr Macdonald leaves the school, which offers day and boarding places.
