Drugs arrests

Police in Helensburgh made several drugs arrests last week.

As a result of a vehicle stop on the A82 near to the Tarbet Hotel at about 11.40pm on Wednesday, a 32-year-old man was allegedly found to be in possession of a controlled substance and is now subject of a report to the procurator fiscal.

Meanwhile, officers searched addresses in the town under drugs warrants beginning at West King Street at around 4.10pm on Thursday, November 15 where they arrested a 22-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man for alleged possession of controlled drugs. Both are subject of reports to the procurator fiscal under the terms of the Misuse of Drugs act.

The following day, Friday, November 16, police arrested two men, aged 26 and 22, for alleged possession of controlled drugs following a search at Maitland Court in the town at around 8pm.
