Dumbarton schoolgirls hoping for Britain's Got Talent success

FOUR talented Dumbarton schoolgirls are hoping to sing their way into the hearts of judges on a top television show.

Eleven-year-olds Samantha Mansfield, Hayley Stewart, Caitlin Brooks and Laura Saunders travelled to Newcastle to take part in auditions for Britain’s Got Talent.

The St Michael’s Primary School pupils, who have formed a band called The 4 GG’s (gorgeous girls), belted out Michael Jackson classic The Way You Make Me Feel.

The girls, who practice during school lunchtimes, now have to sit tight until February to find out whether they have made it through to the next round where they would have to sing in front of judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan.
