Baby naming invitation by West Dunbartonshire Council

PARENTS in West Dunbartonshire are being invited to mark a new arrival with a special ceremony.
The council’s registration services is offering baby naming services at its ceremony rooms in Dumbarton, Alexandria and Clydebank, as well as at other approved venues.
The occasions, which have no legal status, are geared at families who do not wish to have a religious ceremony.
The opportunity was taken up recently by Scott and Margaret Cairns who held a baby naming ceremony for their son, Gregor Scott Cairns, aged two. The family is pictured with Tony Gallagher, senior registrar.
