Have your say on Vale of Leven Hospital

THE first in a series of consultation events on the future of the Vale of Leven Hospital takes place this week.

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde has set out a vision for the hospital, which it says will sustain its services in the long-term.

Councillor James Robb, chairman of the Helensburgh and Lomond Area Committee of Argyll and Bute Council called on local residents to attend tomorrow night’s meeting.

He said: “With such an accessible consultation now in progress everyone in the area has the opportunity to put forward their own views directly and I would urge them to do so.”

The consultation event in Helensburgh is on Thursday, November 27, at the Commodore Hotel from 2.30pm to 4.30pm and 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

A similar event is in Dumbarton’s Burgh Hall on Monday, December 1, at the same times. Further events will be held in January. To register call 0800 027 7246.
