ANYONE who received the most recent election correspondence from the SNP candidate Iain Robertson can be forgiven for thinking that he has been entertaining the First Minister and Health Secretary in recent weeks.
Photos of Mr Robertson with Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon take pride of place on the front of his newsletter.
However, those with a keen eye will notice that these photos are not real, Iain Robertson has photoshopped himself into pictures with Salmond and Sturgeon.
Could it be because Salmond and Sturgeon do not wish to be pictured with our local SNP candidate?
And he couldn’t even be bothered to visit the Vale hospital, he was photoshopped into that picture too!
Perhaps instead of spending so much time doctoring photos of himself with national politicians, Iain Robertson could spend more time explaining why under his watch; West Dunbartonshire Council imposed cuts and charges which hit the most vulnerable people in our area?
Perhaps he could spend more time explaining why more emergency services have been transferred across to the RAH in Paisley from the Vale of Leven Hospital?
They say that a picture tells a thousand words and after seeing the SNP’s latest leaflet, I couldn’t agree more.
