I WOULD like to say a very big thank you to the people of West Dunbartonshire who helped raise over £5000 for NSPCC Scotland at the recent ‘Class Acts’ concerts in association with West Dunbartonshire Council.
By coming along to support the performances by the school children of West Dunbartonshire, you are helping us to recruit and train more ChildLine counsellors to answer more cries for help, so that we can be there whenever and wherever children need us.
We rely heavily on the support of local people to help raise vital funds for the ChildLine service in Scotland.
And it’s entirely thanks to this generosity that we now provide an online counselling service, as well as the confidential helpline from bases in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen.
These developments are an exciting step forward, but demand for the service remains high, and we need to be there for many more children and young people in need of help – something that will only be possible with the continued support of local people, businesses and communities.

Thank you.
